After shooting hundreds of weddings and then getting married and going through the whole process myself I came to realise so much about the actual wedding day. Here is what I stand by.
A wedding is incredibly intimate and not a stage show. A wedding is the the starting point for a marriage, not the climax. You will never have that many people you love in one place again. No one notices minor mishaps, not even the one you think is a disaster. It goes by really, really quickly!
There is nothing quite like your wedding day and at the same time it's really just a big party with the people you love. Enjoy the ride and make it your own.

We are not the most photogenic/posed of couples but somehow Claire got some great snaps of us on our wedding day! She made us feel really comfortable and we actually had a lot of fun. We only opted for one photographer on the day and somehow Claire was able to whip around capturing the most important moments from different angles.We are so glad we have the beautiful pictures to remember and reflect on the day… we also feel we gained a lovely talented new friend.
